Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We also store:
- The content you paste into the generator (PR descriptions, blog drafts, notes)
- The LinkedIn posts we generate for you
- Billing information processed through Stripe — we never store card details directly
- Usage metadata: number of generations used, subscription tier, timestamps
2. How we use your data
- To provide the CommitToPost service
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (welcome, receipt, account updates)
- To improve the product (aggregate, anonymised usage patterns only)
3. OpenAI and your content
The text you paste into CommitToPost is sent to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o) to generate posts. OpenAI's API does not use your data to train their models — this is explicitly stated in OpenAI's API usage policies. Your content is not shared with any other third party for training or advertising purposes.
4. Third-party services
- Google OAuth2 — authentication only; we do not access your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service
- Stripe — payment processing; subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy
- OpenAI — post generation; subject to OpenAI's API Data Usage Policy
- Railway — hosting provider where the application and database run
5. Data retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Generated posts are stored indefinitely so you can reference them later. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies strictly for authentication (keeping you signed in) and for Stripe's payment flow. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
8. Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, email [email protected].
